The Hidden Truth by Christy Lee Rogers is an underwater photograph that plays with perception and the unseen layers of reality. Using her unique process of submerging figures in water, Rogers allows light and movement to bend and refract, creating painterly illusions that echo the Baroque. In this work, two figures intertwine—one upside down—reminding us that sometimes truth can only be revealed when we shift our perspective, looking backwards or inverted, to see what lies beneath the surface.
